Refund Policy and Terms & Conditions

RECITALS

WHEREAS, the Envirocare Green Awards (hereinafter referred to as “the Event”) is an initiative organized to recognize and honor individuals, organizations, academia, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and government/municipal corporations who are actively working towards environmental sustainability;

WHEREAS, the Event organizers (hereinafter referred to as “the Organizers”) have established a non-refundable Participation Fee to cover the administrative costs associated with the evaluation process;

WHEREAS, the Organizers may offer sponsorship opportunities and accept donations to support the cause of environmental sustainability and the Event;

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements contained herein, the parties hereto agree as follows:

ARTICLE I: REFUND POLICY

1.1 The Participation Fee of Rs. 1000 plus 18% Goods and Services Tax (GST) for Indian participants or $20 USD for international participants shall be non-refundable under any circumstances.

1.2 The Participation Fee is intended to cover the administrative costs associated with the evaluation process and is not contingent upon receiving an award.

1.3 Participants acknowledge and agree that the Participation Fee is non-refundable upon submission of their application and the accompanying fee.

ARTICLE II: TERMS & CONDITIONS

2.1 Eligibility: The Event is open to individuals, organizations, academia, NGOs, and government/municipal corporations worldwide, who are actively working towards environmental sustainability.

2.2 Application Process: All interested parties must complete the official application form and submit it along with the non-refundable Participation Fee before the specified deadline. Incomplete applications or those without the accompanying fee will not be considered.

2.3 Evaluation Process: All applications will be evaluated by an independent jury panel comprised of subject matter experts. The evaluation process will be conducted in a fair and impartial manner, and the decision of the jury panel shall be final and binding.

2.4 Award Selection: The number of awards conferred shall be at the sole discretion of the Organizers and the jury panel. Receiving an award is not guaranteed, and the Organizers reserve the right to modify or withdraw any award category without prior notice.

2.5 Intellectual Property: All submitted materials, including but not limited to project descriptions, photographs, and videos, shall become the property of the Organizers, and participants grant the Organizers the non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, and distribute such materials for promotional purposes.

2.6 Liability: The Organizers, jury members, and any associated parties shall not be held liable for any claims, damages, or losses arising from participation in the Event.

2.7 Modifications: The Organizers reserve the right to modify or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Participants are responsible for regularly reviewing the updated Terms & Conditions.

2.8 Governing Law: These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction].

ARTICLE III: SPONSORSHIPS & DONATIONS

3.1 Sponsorship Opportunities: The Organizers may offer various sponsorship packages and opportunities to corporations, organizations, or individuals interested in supporting the Event. Sponsorship benefits and recognition shall be commensurate with the level of financial contribution.

3.2 Donation Acceptance: The Organizers may accept donations from individuals, corporations, or organizations to support the cause of environmental sustainability and the Event. All donations will be acknowledged and recognized appropriately.

3.3 Use of Funds: All sponsorship funds and donations received shall be utilized solely for the purpose of organizing, promoting, and conducting the Event, as well as supporting related environmental initiatives and programs.

3.4 Sponsor and Donor Recognition: The Organizers reserve the right to recognize and promote sponsors and donors through various channels, including but not limited to the event website, promotional materials, and on-site branding opportunities. However, the Organizers shall not be obligated to endorse or promote any sponsor’s or donor’s products, services, or ideologies.

3.5 Sponsorship and Donation Acceptance: The Organizers reserve the right to accept or reject any sponsorship or donation proposal at their sole discretion, without providing any reasons. Sponsorships or donations deemed incompatible with the values, objectives, or reputation of the Event may be declined.

3.6 Termination of Sponsorship or Donation: The Organizers reserve the right to terminate any sponsorship or donation agreement if the sponsor or donor engages in activities or conducts business in a manner that conflicts with the values, objectives, or reputation of the Event.

3.7 Liability: Sponsors and donors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizers, jury members, and any associated parties from any claims, damages, or losses arising from their sponsorship or donation.

3.8 Governing Law: The sponsorship and donation terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India

By submitting an application and the accompanying Participation Fee, participants acknowledge and agree to be bound by the Refund Policy and Terms & Conditions outlined herein. By providing sponsorship or making a donation to the Event, sponsors and donors acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in Article III, as well as the general Terms & Conditions outlined herein.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Agreement to be executed as of the date first above written.
